A Birthday Party

The Baby is born!
Let's be happy, and, say
Let's have a celebration
To honor this day.

Let's bring out the lights
And the candles' soft glow.
(His Father sent the star's light
To shine here below.)

Let's sing songs of joy,
"Happy Birthday to You!"
(His Father sent angels
To sing praises, too.)

And don't forget guests
With their gifts great and small.
(The shepherds and the wise men
Stopped for a brief call.)

The Baby is born.
Christmas gifts we would give.
For all that He's done for us
Let's live as He'd live.
