Be of Good Cheer

Long ago and far away
A baby was born
In sweet smelling hay.

Angels sang of peace on earth
As shepherds looked on
The night of his birth.

Wisemen saw a bright new star;
Across desert sands
They came from afar.

Christmas is the time of year
To think about Christ
And be of good cheer.
