Santa Clauses All

He may not be bewhiskered with a flowing beard of white.
He may not have eight reindeer to pull him through the night.
He may not have a crimson suit nor belt and boots of black.
He may not have a heavy bag to carry on his back.

But it is clearly evident that Santa Claus still lives.
We've found ourselves recipients of the presents that he gives.
And though there's much that we don't know of his identity,
We're grateful for his thoughtfulness and generosity.

The Christmas Spirit was manifest in God's great Gift to men.
And every gift and kindly act renew that spirit again.
We're happy to receive and give, and, as we do, we pause,
Reflecting that we each can be a jolly Santa Claus.

In 2003 we changed line 7 to the following:

Whether or not we're certain as to his identity
