The Search

"Let's go seek to find the Christ Child,"
Said the shepherds long ago.
And so they started forward,
To Bethlehem they'd go.

"Where is He whose star we follow?"
Asked the wise men of the King.
"For Him we want to honor.
Fine gifts to Him we bring."

So these two groups of people
Most earnest in their quest,
Knocked at the humble doorway.
With faith they'd passed the test!

"Seek to find Me," pleads the Savior.
"Call and ask for Me today.
Just knock; I'll surely open
And lead you the true way."
